INSTRUCTORS

Kindra Barrett

Kindra is the organizer of camp, the founder and head women’s coach of Cavalo Jiu-Jitsu, and the first female black belt in Columbia, MO. Known for creating welcoming, engaging training environments, she teaches with an emphasis on the concepts behind the technique so athletes understand when and why it works. Her own jiu-jitsu is creative, flexible, and guard-focused, with a problem-solving style that helps students see options beyond the obvious answers.

At camp, she brings together years of coaching experience and lessons from more than 20 women’s-only jiu-jitsu camps from across the country to help athletes train better, ask better questions, and keep growing, whether or not competition is part of their path.

Brooke Honeycutt Littlewood

Brooke is a first degree black belt, IBJJF Pan American Champion, IBJJF American National Champion, and co-head/fundamentals instructor at Pirata Jiu-Jitsu in Kansas City, MO. A seasoned competitor who has tested herself at every rank, Brooke brings a high-level athlete’s perspective to both training and teaching. Her teaching blends technical detail, a competitor mindset, and practical adjustments athletes can use to sharpen their training and decision-making.

At camp, Brooke will help athletes build confidence, push their pace, and approach their rounds with more intention, whether they’re preparing for competition or simply want to train harder and smarter. For more info on Brooke and her impressive competition record, read here.

Kinsey Saunders

Kinsey is a brown belt, co-head instructor, and head women’s coach at Vine Street Jiu-Jitsu in Macon, MO. She’s been training and teaching since 2016 and is known for her practical, highly technical approach to jiu-jitsu. Her game emphasizes top position, pressure, control, and the details that help athletes maintain dominant positions without relying on size or athleticism alone. As a coach, she focuses on making jiu-jitsu accessible, useful, and empowering for women at every stage in life.

As a mother, coach, and leader in a community-focused gym, Kinsey brings an important perspective on what it means to train seriously while balancing family, work, and real life.
